(Unbeaten Path) that has conquered numerous magazines and won awards such as the Eurobike Gold Award. Combine the best of two worlds: road and mountain biking: the geometry of road bikes to go fast and compatibility with mountainbike 650b tyres up to 54mm.
For the New U.P. frame, OPEN designers did not simply adapt the geometry of a road bicycle. They designed it from scratch, keeping in mind all the assembly needs for different terrains. They used different types of carbon fibre: high strength where necessary and high modulus in the rest of the frame to combine lightness and rigidity. They dropped the right chainstay so that it could be built wider. Therefore, it is more rigid and allows compatibility with many groupset standards.
Other examples of the features offered are the internal wiring, the possibility of mounting disc brakes, placing bottles or bags on the upper tube, and the minimum insertion mark on the seat tube (not only on the seat post).
